It was founded in 1978 in the little town of Calumet, IA by Craig Struve. It all started selling StorMor grain bins in 1977 as a side business and soon thereafter adding augers to help benefit their customers. With the demise of Stormor in 1989 C-S Agrow switched to selling MFS grain bins. Due to a number of reasons, C-S Agrow made the switch to GSI grain equipment in 1996 and has never turned back. Our relationship with GSI over the years has been great. With GSI being able to offer complete systems from material handling of grain, drying of grain and storage of the grain GSI and C-S Agrow is able to offer everything at one stop. Our relationship with GSI has even led us to be the top dealer of GSI equipment in the state of Iowa for the past 4 years.
C-S Agrow has been a growing company since the new owner, Steve Loshman, has taken over the business in 2008. Hick’s Electric, Concrete guys, and tower dryer service has been a few of the additions that C-S Agrow has to offer. Hick’s Electric is a full service electrician that can complete an entire project from start to finish. Whether it is a house or a grain setup Hick’s electric can get the job done. The Concrete Guys was added in the spring of 2013 and this allows us to pour concrete for any aspect. Agricultural, commercial or residential Concrete guys will be there to pour any of your concrete needs. Tower dryer sales and service was also added in spring on 2013 and is looking forward to expanding its horizon. Being able to service tower dryers in Northern Iowa will be a great addition to C-S Agrow and proving that we can provide the service and support that should go with any sale.
